Wings and Things Festival and Fly-in 2023

The Wings and Things Festival and Fly-in is an annual event that celebrates aviation and all things flying. It features a variety of exciting activities, including aerobatic shows, flyovers, helicopter rides, and much more. It is a perfect opportunity for aviation enthusiasts and families to come together and experience the thrill of flying at the Douglas Municipal Gene Chambers Airport in Douglas (Coffee County), Georgia.

Join us for an unforgettable weekend of aviation, excitement, and adventure at the Wings and Things Festival and Fly-in in Douglas, Georgia. Pilots from all over are invited to fly-in and show-off their aircraft and wander the grounds. There will be World War II reenactors, Air Force fly-bys, food trucks and tours of our WWII Airbase Museum. Wings & Things is a free, fun and educational event for all ages. You can also come into town for some more great shopping and dining options. Then stay in town Saturday evening for the Travelin' McCoury's bluegrass concert at the historic Martin Centre theater.
